'08 Ford Taurus X

The Ford Freestyle is now the 2008 Ford Taurus X. The SUV has a great new look and a lot more power. In short, the Taurus X is the station wagon version of the Taurus sedan.

Available in both front wheel and all wheel drive models, the 2008 Ford Taurus X comes in several different trim packages: the SEL, the Limited, and the Eddie Bauer editions. The front end has been redesigned and has a completely new look. Navigational systems and DVD systems are optional, as is the new SYNC system put together by Ford and Microsoft.

Safety features include ABS, antiskid system, traction control, and front and side curtain airbags.

Engine options are limited to one this year. The 260 horsepower 3.5 liter V6 is coupled with a 6 speed automatic transmission. The 2008 Ford Taurus X also has a newly redesigned front end suspension designed to give the passengers a much smoother ride.
